Privacy Notice

This notice explains what Hungry collects when you use this website, why, where it is stored, how long it is kept, and how to have it deleted. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Hungry is operated by Hungry Growth Marketing Services, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For anything in this notice, contact hello@hungry-uae.com.
The short version. We collect what you type into the Hungry Score or a booking form. We store it in our CRM. We use it to prepare for a conversation with you and to follow up about Hungry's services. We do not sell it, and there are no advertising trackers or cookies on this site. Email us and we will delete it.
What we collect
When you complete the Hungry Score (our free assessment), we collect what you enter:
- Your name, business or brand name, email address and phone number
- Your answers to the nine assessment questions — cuisine category, area, approximate monthly delivery revenue band, rating band, how much of your volume is discounted, approximate advertising spend, how current your listings are, who manages your platforms, and your business structure
- The delivery platforms you told us you are on
- The score and the six dimension scores calculated from those answers, and the findings generated alongside them
- If you used the pricing calculator, the number of brands and locations you configured
When you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email, the time you chose, and your answers to any questions on the booking form.
Automatically, we record which page or campaign you arrived from, if that information is present in the link you followed (commonly called UTM parameters), and the date and time you submitted.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, as part of operating and securing the site.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, and no third-party advertising technology on these pages.
The funnel does use your browser's local storage to remember your answers as you move between steps, so you do not lose your progress. That data stays in your own browser, is not transmitted anywhere by that mechanism, and is cleared when you clear your browser data.
Why we use it
- To produce your Hungry Score and the findings shown on screen.
- To prepare for a call so we are not asking you questions you have already answered.
- To contact you about your enquiry and about Hungry's services, including follow-up emails.
- To provide the service if you become a member, and to keep records of that relationship.
We process this information on the basis of your consent, given when you submit a form, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. You can withdraw consent at any time — see Your choices below.
Who else can see it
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and your information passes through them:
- Notion — our CRM. Your record is stored here.
- Cal.com — call bookings and the details you enter on a booking form.
- Netlify — website hosting and server logs.
- Google Workspace — our email, if you correspond with us.
These providers operate outside the UAE, including in the United States and the European Union, so your information may be stored or processed there. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records while there is an active conversation or a reasonable prospect of one, and for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. Records relating to a paid engagement are kept for as long as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes under UAE law. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop sending you marketing email — every email we send also has an unsubscribe link
Email hello@hungry-uae.com and we will action it. We aim to respond within 30 days. These rights are provided under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and we honour equivalent requests regardless of where you are.
Security
Access to our CRM is restricted and protected by multi-factor authentication. The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise — but we do not collect payment card details on this site, and we do not store them anywhere.
Children
This is a service for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell affected people by email.
